Arnold Strippel

As Rapportführer at Buchenwald, he personally used violence against prisoners and took part in the operation that ended with the shooting of 21 Jewish prisoners on 9 November 1939. The original life sentences were reduced in 1970 to six years for aiding murder; in 1981 he also received three years and six months for aiding murder at Majdanek, but did not serve that sentence for health reasons.
